you are not who I thought you were.
your expectations of people and how you view them is your choice. how you perceive someone doesnt change who they actually are and the good and bad they're capable of. most of the time we create what we feel is ideal. we create the best person and expect the best things. why wouldn't we. but who they are is who they've always been. they didn't fool you. you fooled yourself.
so don't be surprised if they don't turn out to be what you expect. don't ask why they chose to do something- or not do something. you are only asking because of the expectations and standards YOU placed on them. someone's ACTIONS are who they are. not how you see them (or what they say). maybe if we understood that, there'd be no reason to feel disappointed or hurt?
